Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground beef (93/7)
  • 1 tbsp Cajun spice blend (smoked paprika, garlic powder, cayenne, oregano, salt, pepper)
  • 8 oz bowtie pasta (or zucchini noodles for keto)
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (optional, for pan)

Method

  1. Cook bowtie pasta according to package instructions or spiralize zucchini noodles and pat dry.
  2. In a skillet, brown beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat, then stir in Cajun spices until fragrant.
  3. Add garlic and onion powder; cook 1-2 minutes.
  4. Push beef to one side of the pan. Melt butter, then whisk in heavy cream and parmesan until smooth and glossy.
  5. Combine Alfredo sauce with beef and cooked pasta. Toss evenly, adjusting seasoning.
  6. Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

For low-carb/keto: Substitute pasta with zucchini noodles, hearts of palm, or shirataki mushroom noodles.
Use collagen peptides or Greek yogurt in the sauce to boost protein further.
Adjust spice level by adding more cayenne or smoked paprika.
