Ingredients

  • 36 Sour Cream Donut Holes
  • 16 oz Chocolate Frosting
  • 18 Pretzel Sticks
  • 2 Cups Chocolate Jimmie Sprinkles

Method

  1. Prepare a tray by lining it with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
  2. Break each of the 18 pretzel sticks in half to create 36 stems.
  3. Gently push one pretzel half into the center top of each donut hole.
  4. Frost the top half of each donut hole around the base of the pretzel stem to create the acorn cap.
  5. While the frosting is still tacky, roll the frosted top half in the chocolate jimmies to create the texture of an acorn cap.
  6. Place the finished acorn on the parchment-lined tray and repeat for all donut holes.
  7. Allow the frosting to set completely before serving.

Notes

Ensure the donut holes are fresh for the best texture. If the frosting is too stiff, microwave it for 5-10 seconds to make it easier to spread. Store in an airtight container at room temperature.
