  • 4 cups thinly sliced roasted beef
  • 1 cup provolone cheese slices
  • 2 large yellow onions, thinly sliced
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 tbsp garlic butter glaze
  • 8 mini Hawaiian rolls or keto-friendly alternatives
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp beef broth (for au jus)

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C)
  2. In a skillet, cook onions in 2 tbsp unsalted butter over low heat for 10-15 minutes until golden brown
  3. Butter the rolls and garlic butter glaze the tops
  4. Layer beef slices in each roll, top with provolone slices and Worcestershire sauce
  5. Return to oven for 8-10 minutes until cheese melts
  6. For au jus, reduce beef broth in a saucepan until thickened
  7. Serve sliders with warm au jus on the side

Notes

For keto version: Use fathead dough or high-protein keto rolls
Caramelized onions can be refrigerated for 3-5 days
Substitute provolone with cheddar if preferred
Ensure au jus is alcohol-free by using beef broth instead of wine-based reductions
