Ingredients

  • 30 oz package frozen cheese ravioli
  • 24 oz jar favorite pasta sauce
  • 1 cup shredded Colby Jack cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Optional: fresh basil or herbs for garnish

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with olive oil or cooking spray.
  3. Pour approximately half a cup of pasta sauce into the bottom of the dish to coat evenly.
  4. Arrange the frozen ravioli in a single layer over the sauce; no need to defrost.
  5. Pour the remaining sauce over the ravioli, ensuring each piece is fully covered.
  6. Sprinkle the Colby Jack and mozzarella cheeses evenly over the top of the sauce.
  7. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and lightly browned.
  8. Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Add a splash of water or vegetable broth to the sauce jar to get every last bit of sauce and ensure the ravioli stays moist while baking. You can customize this by adding fresh spinach or sautéed mushrooms between the layers for extra nutrition.
