Ingredients

  • 2 cups white cranberry juice
  • 1 cup blue berry-flavored drink
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 packets unflavored gelatin powder
  • 2 cups prepared pound cake, cut into small cubes
  • 1 cup blue candy melting wafers
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 1/4 cup nonpareils or decorative sprinkles
  • 12 gummy shark candies

Method

  1. Whisk the white cranberry juice, blue berry drink, and sugar together in a medium saucepan.
  2. Sprinkle the unflavored gelatin powder evenly over the liquid and allow it to bloom for 5 minutes.
  3. Heat the mixture over low heat, stirring constantly until the gelatin is fully dissolved; do not allow to boil.
  4. Pour the liquid into pop molds until they are three-quarters full.
  5. Chill the molds in the refrigerator until the jelly is semi-set.
  6. Press a small cube of pound cake into the center of each mold.
  7. Insert the wooden pop sticks and place in the freezer until completely solid.
  8. Remove the pops from the molds.
  9. Melt the blue candy wafers with the coconut oil in the microwave in 30-second increments, stirring until smooth.
  10. Dip the edges of the pops into the blue coating and quickly garnish with nonpareils.
  11. Press a gummy shark onto the side of each pop while the coating is still tacky and serve immediately.

Notes

Ensure the jelly is semi-set before adding the pound cake to prevent the cake from sinking to the bottom. Store these pops in the freezer and serve immediately upon removing them to maintain the best texture and structure.
