Ingredients

  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened to room temperature
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 4 fresh jalapeño peppers, seeded and diced
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese, divided
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Carefully dice the jalapeños, ensuring all seeds and inner membranes are removed under running water to control the heat level.
  3. In a large glass bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, Greek yogurt, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Use a hand mixer to whip the base mixture until it is smooth, light, and fluffy.
  5. Fold in the shredded mozzarella, half of the shredded cheddar, and the prepared diced jalapeños by hand until evenly distributed.
  6. Transfer the mixture into a small baking dish, spreading it out into an even layer.
  7. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese on top to create a decadent, bubbling crust.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the edges are bubbling and the top is golden brown.

Notes

For an extra crunch, you can add a topping of crushed pork rinds or almond flour crackers before baking. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheat in the oven or microwave before serving.
